Greetings fellow artiste`s and skivvy-wearers
many glorious things in the recent past have happened, yes they did.

To start with..
My good friend Mary decided quite some time ago to put on an Environmental-themed exhibition as a charity event for the Australian Conservation Foundation.  I agreed to put some photos in and ended up being lucky enough to be part of the amazing even that was held Had 7 shots in.. all from here and of course 5 of them I wasnt happy with.  But opening night was a huge success, very large crowd, quite a lot sold, and lots of giddiness and hilarity It was quite an awesome thing to get larger prints of my work done (10"x15") .. I was really happy with it! Sold 3 of mine, and after the 4-day showing about 2 grand was raised.. from around 8 artists!!

So spurred on by all this Ive done a lot more research and learning about this and that and thingybobs and am picking up the camera a lot more and planning trips and (somehow) getting a bit more gear.. damn I'd love a 350D Ive also started shooting in RAW recently... and shall remain to do so until my storage gets so low that I have no choice.

Have also come round to the awesomeness of photoshop cs2 and what it can allow you to do.. as the latest 4 deviations may show.. Playing around with strong morning and afternoon light on plants in the backyard.. then messing with it to accentuate what i was seeing.. a lot of fun really
